The acquisitions performed by FAW can be sent to the FAW retention server; if you want to use this function you must activate it from the Configuration> Preferences> Acquisition menu by activating the “Upload acquisition on FAW Server” box.
In this way, at the end of the acquisition, FAW saves the fundamental data of the acquisition on the FAW server; the data that will be saved are the following: checking code, acquisition start and end date, URL acquired and the IP address of the client who performed the acquisition.
The stored data are used exclusively to perform online checks on the integrity of the acquisition. However, the user must keep all the other files obtained during the acquisition locally.
The data on the FAW server are kept for 3 years. If the user wants to extend the conservation of the same, he must purchase an extension of the conservation by writing to support@fawproject.com at least 10 days before the expiry date.
